About
“We are a thriving, friendly, growing community with a broad demographic, a sought-after school and a range of amenities. We offer pastoral care and outreach activities such as Sunday School, Lunch Hour and Messy Church. There are a range of Bible Study groups. There is good involvement in community events such as election hustings, hosting visiting art exhibitions and firework nights.
The Sunday service at St Mary’s is relaxed and friendly with ordinary people of all ages coming together to worship God, learn more about living as Jesus taught and enjoy being with one another. The service lasts about 1 hour and combines a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary worship songs.
Afterwards, there is time and space for you to catch up and meet new people over a cup of coffee or tea. There is also an opportunity to pray with someone if you have a specific concern or just need some encouragement.

St Mary's has one of the oldest Norman doors in the country. The church was reordered after a fire 4 years ago and now has new chairs instead of pews giving it a more modern, flexible worship space. We will also have a toilet and kitchen soon!
